Torchlight Productions, LLC is an independent motion picture production company in Los Angeles.   Founded in 2006 during the post-production of THE GENE GENERATION, our mission is to develop, produce and finish content for theatrical release, DVD release, and HD broadcast.   Torchlight Productions seeks to establish long-term business relations with investors and distributors, aiming not only to release the films for viewing audiences, but generate revenue for its partners from other sources, such as soundtracks, games, comics (where applicable) and merchandise with the branding of the new titles as well.

While major studios develop big budget films, these productions are often made with a careless attitude towards spending, resulting in financial waste and cost overruns.   Bigger is not always better.   Independent films can be produced for ten million dollars without sacrificing quality production values.   This is possible today when new production technology is coupled with an experienced crew and a no frills, back-to-basics attitude.   We believe this business methodology creates an investment opportunity that is second-to-none.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Torchlight Productions has assembled a core group of industry experts and an A-List advisory board in order to produce the feature-length drama WILD HORSES.

The company's president, Keith Collea, works with top Hollywood directors as an expert consultant in High Definition (HD) cameras.   As a producer, Keith is just weeks away from completing post-production on THE GENE GENERATION, which he also co-wrote.   Boasting an action-packed story, and a cast including Faye Dunaway and Bai Ling, THE GENE GENERATION has over 35,000 fans on its Myspace website and already has companies bidding on national and international distribution rights.   THE GENE GENERTION expects a January 2008 theatrical release date.

With production costs of only one and a half million dollars, THE GENE GENERATION has achieved an on-screen production value of over thirty million, due to hands-on, cost effective producing.   Significant savings came from the use of 4k digital video rather than traditional film stock.   All potential investors are invited to Keith's Marina Del Rey studio for a private screening of THE GENE GENERATION.
